About
Wayfinder is a major and career exploration tool that helps prospective & current Longhorns explore their options. Accessed by more than 200,000 people over the past year, Wayfinder houses in-depth information on UT majors, minors, and certificate programs; features career profiles of successful professionals; and offers self-assessments to assist students in identifying their values, interests, personality, and skills.
Wayfinder was developed by the James W. Vick Center for Strategic Advising and the School of Undergraduate Studies. Development of the website was made possible through an initial grant from the AT&T Foundation. In 2011, Wayfinder received the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Outstanding Advising Technology Innovation Certificate of Merit.
